Poor soul! The lightning of the Truth flashes for him in the universe.

A poor man sees in the universe the lightning of truth

So he is captivated—a lover who, though free, becomes enslaved.

So he is spellbound, being a lover, being tender silk

لو يعرف الباب ما شيء عليه شق

لو يعرف الباب ما شيء عليه شق

هو الفنا في الوجود المنكشف مشتق

هو الفنا في الوجود المنكشف مشتق

If he knew the door, nothing would be hard for him.

If he knew the door nothing would be difficult for him

It is annihilation, derived within unveiled existence.
