يا من يرى ما ظهر وما في السرّْ

أنت الذي حير الماهر به والغرّْ

أنت الذي حير الماهر به والغرّْ

O You who see what is manifest and what lies in secret!

O You who sees what's apparent and what's concealed

You are the One by whom expert and novice alike are bewildered.

You who bewilders the adept and the tyro

وأنت يا قلب كم هذا التقلب قرّْ

وأنت يا قلب كم هذا التقلب قرّْ

اسكن إلى الله من كل العوالم فرّْ

اسكن إلى الله من كل العوالم فرّْ

And you, O heart—how long this wavering? Be still!

And you, o heart, why this constant turmoil?

Find rest in God; flee from all the worlds!

Make your abode with God, flee from all worlds entire
