1. أنا الخلق الجديدُ

    أنا العبد المريدُ

    I am the new creation.

    I am the seeking servant.

  2. وليس عليَّ لبسٌ

    به وهو الشهيد

    And I have no confusion

    concerning Him, and He is the Witness.

  3. وغيب الغيب عنا

    هو المبدي المعيد

    And the Unseen of the unseen, hidden from us,

    is the Originator, the Restorer.

  4. لنا في كل وقت

    وجود منه جيد

    For us, at every moment,

    there is a good existence from Him.

  5. فنحن به قيام

    ونحن به قعود

    So through Him we stand,

    and through Him we sit,

  6. ونحن به ركوع

    ونحن به سجود

    and through Him we bow,

    and through Him we prostrate ourselves.

  7. ونحن لنا انتباه

    به ولنا رقود

    And we have wakefulness

    through Him, and we have sleep.

  8. ونحن لنا احتراك

    به ولنا ركود

    And we have movement

    through Him, and we have stillness.

  9. وذاك الرب حقاً

    ونحن له العبيد

    And that One is truly the Lord,

    and we are His servants.

  10. ونحن له الرعايا

    ونحن له الجنود

    And we are His subjects,

    and we are His soldiers.

  11. هو الملك الذي لا

    سواه لنا يقود

    He is the King; none

    but He leads us.

  12. ونحن عليه منه

    على الأبد الوفود

    And we come to Him from Him,

    delegations for all eternity.

  13. فيطعمنا ويسقي

    ويفعل ما يريد

    So He feeds us and gives us drink,

    and does whatever He wills.

  14. ونشكره على ما

    لنا أبداً يفيد

    And we thank Him for what

    He forever bestows on us.

  15. ومنه لنا علوم

    وإكرام وجود

    And from Him we have knowledge,

    and honor and generosity.

  16. وقال لنا اشكروني

    وبالشكر المزيد

    And He said to us, "Thank Me,"

    and through gratitude comes increase.
