I am the essential temple for the manifestation of power.

I am the self-structure of a manifestation of power

And from my figure I have attained the most perfect form.

And from my prominence I have gained the most perfect image

ولما تأملت الوجود بفكرةٍ

ولما تأملت الوجود بفكرةٍ

رأيت خيال الظلِّ أكبر عبرةٍ

رأيت خيال الظلِّ أكبر عبرةٍ

And when I contemplated existence in thought,

And when I contemplated existence with an idea

I saw the shadow play as the greatest lesson

I saw the imagination of shadow as the greatest lesson

لمن هو في علم الحقيقة راقي

لمن هو في علم الحقيقة راقي

على كل شيء سيف عزمي قد انتُضي

على كل شيء سيف عزمي قد انتُضي

for one who ascends in the knowledge of reality.

For those well-versed in the truth

Over all things, the sword of my resolve has been unsheathed.

Over everything my will's sword is unsheathed

وفي ليل غيبي صبح معرفتي يُضي

وفي ليل غيبي صبح معرفتي يُضي

وكل الورى من بعد ذا لست أرتضي

وكل الورى من بعد ذا لست أرتضي

And in the night of my unseen realm, the dawn of my knowledge shines.

And in the night of my unseen, the dawn of my knowledge illuminates

And after this, I am satisfied with none of creation:

And after this, nothing in creation do I covet

شخوصٌ وأشباح تمر وتنقضي

شخوصٌ وأشباح تمر وتنقضي

وتفنى جميعاً والمحرك باقي

وتفنى جميعاً والمحرك باقي

Figures and phantoms pass by and come to an end,

Figures and ghosts pass and vanish

and all perish, while the mover remains.

And all pass away while the Mover remains
