How could I fear the accursed, heedless one,

When I am under my God's protection?

ينشرspreads اللهGod رحمةmercy ويهيئand prepares

لهموfor them مرفقاًa means of ease منfrom الأمرthe affair باهيsplendid
لهمو مرفقاً من الأمر باهي
God spreads mercy and prepares

For them a splendid means of ease in their affairs.
For them a refuge from the evident matter
ليسnot يخشونthey fear منfrom غوايةseduction دقياDaqya- (name continued)
ليس يخشون من غواية دقيا
نوس-nus (completing Daqyanus) غيراًanother لمنto whoever يراهsees him مضاهيan equal
نوس غيراً لمن يراه مضاهي
They do not fear the seduction of Daqya-
They do not fear the misguidance of Decius
nus, nor another who seems his equal to the beholder.
Who changed those who saw him, to others
مؤمناًbelieving لمnot أزلI ceased بهمin them وبماand in what قدindeed
مؤمناً لم أزل بهم وبما قد
جاءcame عنهمabout them قطعاًcertainly بغيرwithout اشتباهdoubt
جاء عنهم قطعاً بغير اشتباه
I have ever believed in them and in what has
I have always believed in them and in what
Been related about them, with certainty and without doubt,
Came about them, with no doubt

باسطاً بالوصيد مني ذراعي
نdual ending of 'two arms' لساناًa tongue والقلبand the heart للإنتباهfor wakefulness
ن لساناً والقلب للإنتباه
Stretching out my two arms at the threshold—
Extending with devotion my arms
My tongue and heart—for wakefulness.
My tongue and heart to pay attention
فعسىso may اللهGod أنto يمنbestow favor عليناupon us
فعسى الله أن يمن علينا
بلحاقwith joining بهمwith them بعزٍّwith honor وجاهand high standing
بلحاق بهم بعزٍّ وجاه
May God, then, bestow upon us
May God honor us
The grace of joining them in honor and high standing.
By joining them in might and stature
همthey رجالmen of اللهGod الذينwhom اصطفاهمHe chose them
هم رجال الله الذين اصطفاهم
وحماهمand protected them منfrom الدهاadversity والدواهيand calamities
وحماهم من الدها والدواهي
They are the men of God whom He has chosen
They are the men of God whom He chose
And protected from adversity and calamities.
And protected from harm and pitfalls
لمnot تزلhas ceased نعمةblessing الإلهGod عليهمupon them
لم تزل نعمة الإله عليهم
تتوالىcomes in succession لهمto them بغيرwithout تناهيend
تتوالى لهم بغير تناهي
God's blessing upon them has never ceased
God's blessings on them
To come to them in succession, without end.
Continued endlessly for them
وعليهمand upon them يدومendures رضوانgood pleasure ربيmy Lord
وعليهم يدوم رضوان ربي
ماas long as استهلpours forth السحابthe clouds بالأمواهwith waters
ما استهل السحاب بالأمواه
And may my Lord's good pleasure endure upon them
And His satisfaction remains on them
As long as the clouds pour forth their waters.
As long as the clouds bring rain
