وله صولة بأمر مطاع

The letter ʿayn of blindness calls toward the light,

And it has might through a command obeyed.

هو هذا به وما هو هذا

قاطع للرجا وللأطماع

قاطع للرجا وللأطماع

It is this through it, yet it is not this,

Cutting off hope and covetous desires.

ها بلا ها وها هو الشان دان

ها بلا ها وها هو الشان دان

وبعيد في عالم الإختراع

وبعيد في عالم الإختراع

Hā without hā—and behold, the matter is near,

And distant in the realm of creation.

عاين الكل منه ما عاينوه

عاين الكل منه ما عاينوه

وهو في غاية من الإرتفاع

وهو في غاية من الإرتفاع

All beheld of it what they beheld,

While it is at the utmost height.

بانحراف الشئون عنه تبدى

بانحراف الشئون عنه تبدى

فهو يتلى بألسن الأسماع

فهو يتلى بألسن الأسماع

Through the turning of affairs away from it, it became manifest,

So it is recited by the tongues of hearing.

ما وعاه سواه في الغيب واعي

ما وعاه سواه في الغيب واعي

A breath in the gardens of manifestation's zenith—

No knower but itself has comprehended it in the unseen.
