العفو أليق لا جرمْ

خلف الوعيد من الكرمْ

Forgiveness is more fitting, no doubt

Behind the threat lies generosity

إن الكمال هو الذي

حبل الوجود به انبرمْ

Indeed perfection is that which

The existence has been tied with

وعليه نكسب لا علي

نا كاسب هو ما انخرم

And through it we earn, not through

A earner that has decayed

لولا النصوص أتت بأخ

بار الوعيد المحترم

If not for the texts that came with

Righteousness of the respected threat

قلنا لكم ما الكل إل

لا النور يلمع في الحرم

We would have told you what all but

Not the light that shines in the sanctuary

والنار نورٌ أصلها

والكل حق ما انصرم

And fire, its origin is light

And all truth has not decayed

والواو حين تحركت

قلبت لأمر لم يُرَم

And the "waw", when it moved

It turned the matter that was not aimed

ألفاً هي الذاتُ انجلتْ

ذات العماد وقل إِرَم

The "alif" is the essence that shone

The essence of pillar, say Iram

والمنتهى منه إلي

ه فلا شباب ولا هرم

And the endpoint from it to

Him, so neither youth nor old age

والغير ينفخ في الرما

د ونحن ننفخ في ضرم

And the other blows into ashes

While we blow into embers

وكلامنا سمن وقو

ل الغير أجمعه ورم

And our talk is fat and the

Talk of others altogether is a wound
