حيا الحيا الوسميُّ سكانَ النقى

ليت بهم تعود أيام اللقا

The beautiful life lived by the people of purity

If only the days of meeting would return through them

أيام كنا بالفنا وبالبقا

نهوى الوجود في الوجوه مطلقا

Days when through annihilation and subsistence

We yearned for existence in faces utterly

وكل أمر لم يزل محققا

يا سعد سلم لي على وادي سلم

And every matter has always been realized

O Saad, convey my greetings to the Valley of Peace

حيث ترى ناراً على رأس علم

دعوى وجودكم بها الغير ظلم

Where you see a fire atop a flag

Your existence's claim through it is injustice to others

لا عاش يوماً بالهنا ولا ارتقى

وكل أمر لم يزل محققا

Who neither lived serenely for a day nor ascended high

And every matter has always been realized

الله نور الأرض والسماء قل

والكل ظلمة عليهم قد ثقل

God is the light of earth and heaven, say

And all are darkness heavy upon them

إن قلت باطلٌ لكَ الحقُّ يَقُل

سعدتَ والذي ادعاه في شقا

If you say false, the right will diminish for you

You were felicitous while the one who claimed it was in misery

وكل أمر لم يزل محققا

عبد الغني أغناه مولاه الغني

And every matter has always been realized

Abdul Ghani, his Master, the Rich, enriched him

بفضله وزاده زادٌ هني

وبالصلاة والسلام يعتني

With His grace, and granted him ample livelihood

And attentive salat and greetings

على النبي المصطفى الذي رقى

وكل أمر لم يزل محققا

Upon the Chosen Prophet who ascended

And every matter has always been realized
