إن العوام كلها موجودة

إن العوام كلها موجودة

لكن وجود الفرض والتقدير

لكن وجود الفرض والتقدير

Indeed, all the common people exist,

but theirs is an existence of supposition and estimation.

والله موجود حقيقي بلا

والله موجود حقيقي بلا

شبه ولا كيف ولا تصوير

شبه ولا كيف ولا تصوير

And God truly exists, without

likeness, modality, or depiction.

وهو الذي فرض العوالم كلها

وهو الذي فرض العوالم كلها

وهو المقدر لي إليه مصيري

وهو المقدر لي إليه مصيري

And He is the one who posited all the worlds,

and He ordains for me; to Him is my return.

ولأجل هذا كل شيء هالك

ولأجل هذا كل شيء هالك

والكل فانٍ قال في التعبير

والكل فانٍ قال في التعبير

And for this reason everything perishes,

and all passes away, as He put it.

وهو الذي علماؤنا يعنونه

وهو الذي علماؤنا يعنونه

أهل المعارف كهف كل خبير

أهل المعارف كهف كل خبير

And He is the one our scholars mean—

the people of spiritual knowledge, the refuge of every adept.

فافهم مقالتنا وكن متحققاً

فافهم مقالتنا وكن متحققاً

تسلم من الإنكار والتكفير

تسلم من الإنكار والتكفير

So understand our words and be certain of their truth;

you will avoid denial and declaring others unbelievers.

أو لم تكن تفهم فإنك جاهل

أو لم تكن تفهم فإنك جاهل

أعمى كفرت الحق غير بصير

أعمى كفرت الحق غير بصير

Or, if you do not understand, then you are ignorant,

blind: you denied the Real without insight,

إلا إذا آمنت بالغيب الذي

إلا إذا آمنت بالغيب الذي

لم تدنه وقنعت بالتقصير

لم تدنه وقنعت بالتقصير

unless you believe in the unseen which

you have not reached, and accept your limitations.

أو لا فهيِّئ للجحيم أضالعاً

أو لا فهيِّئ للجحيم أضالعاً

مملوءة بالكفر نار سعير

مملوءة بالكفر نار سعير

Otherwise, prepare your ribs for Hell,

filled with unbelief—for a blazing fire.
