جميع الورى كل أحوالهم

من الخير جود لهم يمنحُ

All creatures—all their states

All people and all their circumstances

of well-being are bounty bestowed upon them,

Receive abundant goodness from Him

وفضل من الله لو أنهم

وفضل من الله لو أنهم

يكون له عندهم ملمح

يكون له عندهم ملمح

and grace from God—if only they

If they but recognized God's grace

had a glimpse of it.

And gave thanks or denied it

لشكرانهم أو لكفرانهم

لشكرانهم أو لكفرانهم

هو الإمتحان لهم يصلح

هو الإمتحان لهم يصلح

For their gratitude or their ingratitude,

That would be their test

it serves them as a fitting test.

So let them not rejoice in what comes to them

فلا يفرحوا بالذي جاءهم

فلا يفرحوا بالذي جاءهم

ونالوه منه ولا يمرحوا

ونالوه منه ولا يمرحوا

So let them not rejoice in what has come to them

Nor revel in what they receive from Him

and what they have received from Him, nor revel arrogantly.

But in the grace of the God of all people

وأما بفضل إله الورى

وأما بفضل إله الورى

نعم فبذلك فليفرحوا

نعم فبذلك فليفرحوا

But as for the grace of the God of all creation—

Yes, in that let them rejoice

yes, in that let them rejoice.
