أقبلturn علىtoward الحقthe Real لاdo not تقبلturn علىtoward الباطلْfalsehood
أقبل على الحق لا تقبل على الباطلْ
فالحقfor the Real فاعلthe doer وغيرهand whatever is besides Him كلهall of it العاطلْidle
فالحق فاعل وغيره كله العاطلْ
Turn toward the Real; do not turn toward falsehood.
Turn to the truth, do not turn to falsehood
For the Real is the doer, and all besides Him is idle.
For truth is active, while all else is idle
واللهand God بالوعدto the promise موفيfaithful والسوىand all else ماطلْdelaying fulfillment
والله بالوعد موفي والسوى ماطلْ
والغيرand all else ماحِلْbarren وربيand my Lord غيثهits rain الهاطلْpouring down
والغير ماحِلْ وربي غيثه الهاطلْ
And God is faithful to His promise, while all else delays.
And God keeps His promise, while the deviant procrastinates
And all else is barren, while my Lord is its pouring rain.
And the others accomplish nothing, while my Lord sends down abundant rain
