Everyone is right and everyone is wrong,

And all is in use and idle.

والكل ينبوع ماء عين

And all is a fountain of spring water.

Everyone is a spring of water, an eye,

And all is the Succorer's rain, pouring down.

And everyone is pouring rain.

وعدتنا أن نراك يا من

في وعده الحق غير ماطل

You promised us we would see You, O You who

You promised we would see you, O You

Never delay in fulfilling Your true promise.

Whose promise is true, not deceitful,

وقد رأيناك بين حق

وقد رأيناك بين حق

سما وجوداً وبين باطل

سما وجوداً وبين باطل

And indeed we have seen You between the real

And we did see you between truth,

That rose high in being, and the unreal.

The sky of existence, and falsehood.

ذواتنا فيك حاليات

ذواتنا فيك حاليات

وما الحوالي مثل العواطل

وما الحوالي مثل العواطل

Our essences are adorned in You,

Our selves in You are states,

And the adorned are not like the unadorned.

Not like the seasons that come and go.

وكل من لم يكنك خاطي

وكل من لم يكنك خاطي

وكل من لم تكنه خاطل

وكل من لم تكنه خاطل

And whoever is not You is in error,

All who are not mistaken about You

And whoever You are not speaks folly.

And all whom You do not prove wrong,

وأنت أنت الوجود حقاً

وأنت أنت الوجود حقاً

ولا مماري ولا مماطل

ولا مماري ولا مماطل

And You—You are truly existence,

You, You are existence truly,

And none disputes, and none delays.

No pretense or deception.

ونحن لا نحن غير أنا

ونحن لا نحن غير أنا

لماء إيجادنا قساطل

لماء إيجادنا قساطل

And we are not we, save that we

And we are not we, nothing but I -

Are conduits for the water of our creation.

For the water of our existence You poured.
