Sol 6.1

  1. عيني لغير جمالكم لا تنظر

    وسواكمو في خاطري لا يخطر

    My eye looks upon no beauty but yours.

    And no one but you crosses my mind.

  2. وجميع فكري فيكمو دون الورى

    وعلى محبتكم أموت وأحشر

    And all my thought is of you, not of the rest of humankind.

    And loving you, I die and am gathered at resurrection.

  3. يا سادة قلبي بهم متعلق

    أبداً وعنكم ساعة لا أصبر

    O masters to whom my heart is bound,

    Forever; and I cannot bear an hour away from you.

  4. إن نمت كنتم في المنام معي وإن

    في يقظتي قد كنت فيكم أبصر

    If I sleep, you are with me in dreams; and if

    I am awake, it is indeed in you that I see.

  5. لا فرق ما بيني وبين خيالكم

    إن غاب غبت وإن حضرتم أحضر

    There is no difference between me and your image.

    If it vanishes, I vanish; and if you are present, I am present.

  6. إثنان نحن وفي الحقيقة واحد

    لكن أنا الأدنى وأنت الأكبر

    We are two, yet in truth we are one.

    But I am the lesser, and you are the greater.

  7. ولعل لطفك أن يداركني فقد

    أقللت من أدبي وإني الأحقر

    And may your kindness come to my aid, for I have

    Shown too little courtesy, and I am the lowliest.

  8. سبحانك اللهم يا ملك الورى

    إني بجاهك في الورى أستنصر

    Glory be to you, O God, O King of humankind.

    Indeed, by your majesty I seek aid among humankind.

  9. ولقد جعلت وسيلتي لك سيداً

    أرسلته بالحق دينك يظهر

    And I have made a master my means of approaching you,

    Whom you sent with the truth to make your religion manifest.

  10. وهو النبي محمد دون الورى

    منك الصلاة عليه ليست تحصر

    And he is the Prophet Muhammad, and no other.

    Your blessings upon him are beyond measure.
