نحن في وادي وغيب الغيب في وادي عميق

نحن في وادي وغيب الغيب في وادي عميق

والذي يدخل وادي الغيب منه لا يفيق

والذي يدخل وادي الغيب منه لا يفيق

We are in a valley, and the unseen of the unseen is in a deep valley.

We are in a valley, and the unseen is in a deep valley

And whoever enters the valley of the unseen never awakens from it.

And whoever enters the valley of the unseen, does not awake from it

إنه الوادي الذي كلم موسى ربه

إنه الوادي الذي كلم موسى ربه

فيه والتقديس منه بان في أهل الطريق

فيه والتقديس منه بان في أهل الطريق

It is the valley where his Lord spoke to Moses,

It is the valley in which Moses spoke to his Lord

and there, sanctification from it became manifest among the people of the Path.

In it is sanctification, for the people of the path

وانطواء الكون فيه أنه وادي طوى

وانطواء الكون فيه أنه وادي طوى

كل من يسلك فيه فهو من خير فريق

كل من يسلك فيه فهو من خير فريق

And the cosmos is folded within it, for it is the valley of Tuwa.

And the folding of the universe in it, it is the valley of Tuwa

Everyone who journeys within it belongs to the finest company.

Everyone who travels in it, is of the best group

قف معي يا ابن مقامي ههنا دون الحمى

وتيامن وتياسر واشهد البيت العتيق

وتيامن وتياسر واشهد البيت العتيق

Stand with me, O son of my station, here before the sanctuary.

Stand with me, O son of my abode, here below the sanctuary

And turn right and turn left, and behold the Ancient House.

And face right and left, and witness the Ancient House

إن أنوار سليمى ليس تخفى في الورى

إن أنوار سليمى ليس تخفى في الورى

إنما المزكوم لا يعرف ما المسك الفتيق

إنما المزكوم لا يعرف ما المسك الفتيق

Indeed, Sulayma's lights are not hidden among humankind.

Indeed the lights of Suleimi are not hidden in creation

Only one with a cold fails to recognize musk with its fragrance released.

Rather the perfumed does not know what pure musk is

هذه لا هذه من يفهم المعنى الذي

هذه لا هذه من يفهم المعنى الذي

عندنا ينجو من البحر الذي فيه غريق

عندنا ينجو من البحر الذي فيه غريق

This, not this—whoever understands the meaning that

This, no this, who understands the meaning that

we hold escapes from the sea in which he is drowning.

With us escapes from the sea in which there is one drowning

لا تلم مثلي على كشف الغطا كشف الغطا

لا تلم مثلي على كشف الغطا كشف الغطا

إن مثلي إن مثلي صاحب العهد الوثيق

إن مثلي إن مثلي صاحب العهد الوثيق

Do not blame one like me for lifting the veil—lifting the veil.

Do not blame the like of me for unveiling the cover, unveiling the cover

Indeed, one like me—indeed, one like me—is a bearer of the firm covenant.

The like of me, the like of me is the holder of the solemn covenant
