كن حافظاً حرمة من تقتدي
بهon him وصنand protect نفسكyour soul عنfrom فصلهاits separation
به وصن نفسك عن فصلها
Maintain reverence for the one you follow
Be the guardian of the sanctity of those you follow
as your guide, and guard your soul against separation,
And guard your soul from being separated from them
حتىuntil ترىyou see الإمدادthe sustaining aid منهfrom him بلاwithout
حتى ترى الإمداد منه بلا
قطعinterruption وتحظىand finds favor النفسthe soul فيin وصلهاits union
قطع وتحظى النفس في وصلها
until you see aid from him without
So you may see the continuous flow from them
interruption, and the soul finds favor in its union.
And the soul enjoys its connection
وانظرand look إلىat فوارةthe jet of الماwater علتrose high
وانظر إلى فوارة الما علت
وماand not علتrose high إلاexcept علىabove أصلهاits source
وما علت إلا على أصلها
And look at the jet of water that rose high:
And look at the spring of water that rose high
and it rose only above its source.
It only rose high on its source
