جميع أفعال ربنا حسنَهْ

جميع أفعال ربنا حسنَهْ

سيئة منك كانت أو حسنَهْ

سيئة منك كانت أو حسنَهْ

All the deeds of our Lord are good,

Whether, from you, they were evil or good.

والنفس منها الأفعال سيئةٌ

والنفس منها الأفعال سيئةٌ

وتلك أفعال ربنا الحسنهْ

وتلك أفعال ربنا الحسنهْ

And the deeds arising from the soul are evil,

Yet those are our Lord’s good deeds.

وإنما الله عنه أغفلها

وإنما الله عنه أغفلها

حتى ادعتها ولم تر مِننه

حتى ادعتها ولم تر مِننه

And God alone made it heedless of Himself,

Until it claimed them as its own and did not see His favors.

فإنها سيئات ما عملوا

فإنها سيئات ما عملوا

بنية في القلوب مكتمنه

بنية في القلوب مكتمنه

For they are the evils of what they did

With an intention concealed within the hearts.

ومن يبع نفسه لخالقه

ومن يبع نفسه لخالقه

تكن له نفس ربِّه ثمنه

تكن له نفس ربِّه ثمنه

And whoever sells his soul to his Creator,

His Lord’s very Self shall be his price.
