قوم بهم ينفخ الشيطان نفخ الزمرْ

قوم بهم ينفخ الشيطان نفخ الزمرْ

فيظهرون التمسك ظاهراً بالأمرْ

فيظهرون التمسك ظاهراً بالأمرْ

A people through whom Satan blows as one blows a flute;

The devil blows into them like blowing into musical instruments

So they outwardly display adherence to the command.

So they feign to hold fast outwardly to the religious law

إن رمت أوصافهم تدري بهم يا عمرو

إن رمت أوصافهم تدري بهم يا عمرو

لا يشربون التُتُنْ بل يشربون الخمرْ

لا يشربون التُتُنْ بل يشربون الخمرْ

If you seek their traits, you will know them, O Amr:

If you study their attributes, O Amr, you will know them

They do not smoke tobacco, but rather drink wine.

They do not drink fermented juice but they drink wine
