يقول الناس دع ما فيه ظنٌّ
بهthrough it الوسواسthe whisperer فيكconcerning you سطاassailed عليناupon us
به الوسواس فيك سطا علينا
People say: Leave whatever is subject to doubt;
People say: leave what you doubt
through it, the whisperer assailed us concerning you.
Obsessive thoughts have overcome you
ونحنand we الأصدقاءthe friends ولمand have not نرجِّحْwe prefer
ونحن الأصدقاء ولم نرجِّحْ
عليكover you سواكanyone other than you بينamong العالميناall beings
عليك سواك بين العالمينا
And we are friends, and have not preferred
We are friends, we never put
anyone else over you among all beings.
Anyone above you between both our worlds
لقدindeed كذبواthey lied بذاكin that وهلand is there صديقa friend
لقد كذبوا بذاك وهل صديق
تراهyou see him يصدِّقُhe believes الشيطانَSatan فيناabout us
تراه يصدِّقُ الشيطانَ فينا
They have indeed lied in that; is there a friend
They lied about that, could a friend
you would see believing Satan about us?
