علم عظيم النفع للعالمِ

جل عن المفهوم والفاهمِ

Great science of immense benefit to the world

Beyond comprehension and the comprehender

وكيف لا ينكر وهو الذي

يجهله إبليس في آدم

How could one deny it when it is what

Iblis was ignorant of within Adam

حتى أبى عن أن يُرى ساجداً

لربه من قوة الواهم

To the extent he refused to bow down

To his Lord out of the power of delusion

والتبس الأمر عليه ولم

يقدر على التمييز في العالم

Matters were confusing for him and he

Could not distinguish in the world

كم عدم أخفى وجوداً وكم

من زائلٍ غطَّى على دائم

How much non-existence hides existence and how

Much of the fleeting covers the eternal

يا ويحه والنهر في داره

من حائرٍ صادي الحشى حائم

Oh woe to him, while the river is in its abode

How lost is the misguided, wandering soul

وكل ذا من قسوة عنده

وحسد في نفسه قائم

And all who have hardness within

And envy in their soul

لم يسلم الأمر إلى ربه

ولم يشاهد حكمة الحاكم

Did not surrender the matter to his Lord

And did not witness the wisdom of the Ruler

وعاند الخالق في خلقه

معترضاً سيف القضا القاصم

And opposed the Creator in His creation

Objecting, the sword of fate that severs

فاحذره واحذر أن تحاكي له

ترجع بحالِ الخاسر النادم

So beware of him and beware that you imitate him

And return in the state of the regretful loser

يا أيها الإنسان قم وانتبه

من لي بهذا الغافل النائم

O man, rise and wake up

Who is with me in rousing this sleeping oblivious one

ويحك قد أشقى إلهُ الورى

إبليس من أجلك يا آدمي

Woe to you! The God of creation has made miserable

Iblis because of you, O human

فكن سعيداً أنت واسبق إلى

نيل العلى واعرض عن اللائم

So be happy, you, and hasten to

Attain the most high and turn away from the blamer

وكتْبَ محيي الدين طالعْ لها

بخاطرٍ عن غيرها صائم

And Muhiyyi al-Din wrote its horoscope

With a mind abstaining from others

معتقداً في حقها قاطعاً

بأنها دين أبي القاسم

Believing in its truth, decisively

That it is the religion of Abi al-Qasim

ولا تكن في ذاك مستعملاً

علوم رسمٍ للبنا هادم

And do not employ in that

Sciences that dismantle the established

فإن محيي الدين شمس الهدى

وهو الإمام العارف الحاتمي

For Muhiyyi al-Din is the sun of guidance

And he is the knowing perfected guide

عليه رضوان من الله ما

تنعم المرحوم بالراحم

Upon him is the pleasure of God that

The deceased enjoy through the Merciful
