يا أهل أسفل سافلينْ

يا شر قوم غافلينْ

O people of the lowest of the low

O evil folk, heedless

أنتم شخوص سفاهة

ولذا نراكم منكرين

You are foolish characters

And thus we see you as deniers

لمتى الجهالة بينكم

بوقوعكم في العارفين

How long will ignorance be among you

As you fall into the knowing

قال اخسأوا فيها فما

أنتم من المتكلمين

He said "Be wretched in it, for you

Are not of those who speak"

أنتم شخوص ألقيت

فيكم صفات اللاعبين

You are characters upon whom

The traits of players have been cast

وتفرقت أبصاركم

عن رؤية الحق المبين

And your visions are scattered

From seeing the clear truth

وفسادكم هو موقع

لقلوبكم في الصالحين

And your corruption is the place

Of your hearts among the righteous

سترون ما أنتم به

لذوي الهدى متلبِّسين

You will see what you are in

For those rightly guided, imposters

في الباطن الكفر الذي

بظهور رب العالمين

Inwardly the disbelief which

With the appearance of the Lord of the Worlds

والظاهر الإيمان في

ه تقيّةٌ للسامعين

And outwardly the faith in

It is a caution for the listeners

وغداً إذا متّم بدا

ما اليوم كنتم جاحدين

And tomorrow when the veil lifts

What today you were denying will appear

والله إن لم تسلموا

لحقائق الدين المتين

And Allah, if you do not submit

To the truths of the steady religion

دين النبي محمد

طه الرسول لنا الأمين

The religion of the Prophet Muhammad

Ta Ha the Messenger trusted for us

لرأيتم السيف الذي

بالحق يقطع للوتين

You would see the sword which

With truth cuts the necks in two
