They wronged the beast, yet by God it is more deserving
They wronged the beast, though it, by God,
Of trust than you, O human.
Deserves safety more than you, O man!
انindeed للوحشthe beast has جوعتينtwo hungers وأنتمwhile you
ان للوحش جوعتين وأنتم
جوعكمyour hunger فيin حياتكمyour lives ألوانُvaried forms
جوعكم في حياتكم ألوانُ
Indeed, the beast has two hungers, while you—
The beast has but two hungers to contend;
Your hunger takes many forms throughout your lives.
Man's are as various as his life's own span.
