The sun did not set until the moon shone forth:

Muhammad, whom God and humankind have approved.

O night that unveiled, before dawn, the

Mahdi! May my hearing and sight be your ransom.

His caliphate shall surely extend over the world

As a sky of bounty, whose rain is the water of gifts.

And polytheism shall perish in its remotest recesses,

Until it vanishes and no trace of it is known.

Of this the radiant stars tell us, just as

The sun and moon have revealed it to them.
