محمدٌMuhammad خيرُthe best مسترعىًone entrusted with care ومؤتمنٍand a trusted custodian
محمدٌ خيرُ مسترعىً ومؤتمنٍ
للمسلمينfor the Muslims جميعاًall together حيثماwherever كانواthey were
للمسلمين جميعاً حيثما كانوا
Muhammad is the finest guardian and trustee
Mohammed is the best caretaker and trustee
For all Muslims, wherever they may be.
For all Muslims wherever they may be
بنىhe built لهمfor them مسجداًa mosque جلتwere sublime عجائبهits wonders
بنى لهم مسجداً جلت عجائبه
لولاwere it not for السماءُthe sky لماwould not have ضاهاهrivaled it بنيانُa building
لولا السماءُ لما ضاهاه بنيانُ
He built them a mosque whose wonders are sublime;
He built for them a mosque of wondrous fame
Were it not for the sky, no building would have rivaled it.
If not for the sky, its structure would have no peer
كذاthus يكونshould be الإمامthe imam المرتضىthe chosen أبداًalways
كذا يكون الإمام المرتضى أبداً
أقوىthe strongest صباباتهhis passions تقوىpiety وإيمانand faith
أقوى صباباته تقوى وإيمان
Thus should the chosen imam always be:
Thus is the chosen Imam forevermore
His strongest passions are piety and faith.
His youth are strongest in piety and faith
