رأيتُ أميرَ المؤمنين محمّداً

رأيتُ أميرَ المؤمنين محمّداً

وفي وجهنه بذرُ المحبة يثمرُ

وفي وجهنه بذرُ المحبة يثمرُ

I beheld Muhammad, the Commander of the Faithful,

I saw Muhammad, Commander of the Faithful,

and in his face love’s full moon bears fruit.

And in his face the seed of love bears fruit.
