صَبَحناهُم بِأَلفٍ مِن سُلَيمٍ

صَبَحناهُم بِأَلفٍ مِن سُلَيمٍ

وَأَلفٍ مِن بَني عُثمانَ وافِ

وَأَلفٍ مِن بَني عُثمانَ وافِ

We attacked them in the morning with a thousand from Sulaym,

We greeted them with a thousand from Sulaim,

and a full thousand from Banu Uthman.

And a thousand from the clan of Uthman, ready and prepared.
