جَزىmay reward اللَهُGod خَيراًwith good خَيرَناthe best of us لِصَديقِهِtoward his friend
جَزى اللَهُ خَيراً خَيرَنا لِصَديقِهِ
وَزَوَّدَهُand provide him زاداًprovisions كَزادِlike the provisions of أَبيAbu (father of) سَعدِSa'd
وَزَوَّدَهُ زاداً كَزادِ أَبي سَعدِ
May God reward with good the one among us who is best to his friend,
May God reward the best of us well for his friend
And provide him with provisions like Abu Sa'd's,
And provide him provisions like the provisions of Abi Saad
وَزَوَّدَهُand provide him صِدقاًtruthfulness وَبِرّاًand kindness وَنائِلاًand bounty
وَزَوَّدَهُ صِدقاً وَبِرّاً وَنائِلاً
وَماand not كانَwas فيin تِلكَthat الوِفادَةِthe visit مِنany حَمدِpraise
وَما كانَ في تِلكَ الوِفادَةِ مِن حَمدِ
And provide him with truthfulness, kindness, and bounty;
And provide him with truthfulness, righteousness and attainment
And there was nothing to praise in that visit.
And whatever praise was in that delegation
