جاءَhe came كَلَمعِlike a flash of البَرقِthe lightning جاشَgrew agitated ناظِرُهhis eye
جاءَ كَلَمعِ البَرقِ جاشَ ناظِرُه
يَسبَحُswims أُولاهُhis forequarters وَيَطفوand floats آخِرُهhis hindquarters
يَسبَحُ أُولاهُ وَيَطفو آخِرُه
He came like a flash of lightning, his eye restless;
His forequarters swim, and his hindquarters float;
فَماso not يَمَسُّtouches الأَرضَthe ground مِنهُof him حافِرُهhis hoof
فَما يَمَسُّ الأَرضَ مِنهُ حافِرُه
So not a hoof of his touches the ground.
