وَأَنتَ لَمّا وُلِدتَ أَشرَقَتِ ال

وَأَنتَ لَمّا وُلِدتَ أَشرَقَتِ ال

أَرضُ وَضاءَت بِنورِكَ الأُفُقُ

أَرضُ وَضاءَت بِنورِكَ الأُفُقُ

And when you were born, radiant grew the

earth, and the horizon shone with your light.

مِن قَبلِها طِبتَ في الظِلالِ وَفي

مِن قَبلِها طِبتَ في الظِلالِ وَفي

مُستَودَعٍ حَيثُ يُخصَفُ الوَرَقُ

مُستَودَعٍ حَيثُ يُخصَفُ الوَرَقُ

Before that, you were pure in the shades, and in

a place of safekeeping where leaves are stitched together.
