رَأَيتُكَ يا خَيرَ البَرِيَّةِ كُلِّها

رَأَيتُكَ يا خَيرَ البَرِيَّةِ كُلِّها

نَشَرتَ كِتاباً جاءَ بِالحَقِّ مُعلِما

نَشَرتَ كِتاباً جاءَ بِالحَقِّ مُعلِما

I saw you, O best of all creation.

I saw you, O best of all creation

You spread a book that came with the truth, making it known.

You spread a book which brought the truth as a teacher

وَنَوَّرتَ بِالبُرهانِ أَمراً مُدَمَّساً

وَنَوَّرتَ بِالبُرهانِ أَمراً مُدَمَّساً

وَأَطفَأتَ بِالبُرهانِ ناراً مُضَرَّما

وَأَطفَأتَ بِالبُرهانِ ناراً مُضَرَّما

And with proof you illuminated a matter shrouded in darkness.

And you illuminated with proof something once obscured

And with proof you extinguished a blazing fire.

And with proof you extinguished a raging fire

فَمَن مُبلِغٌ عَنّي النَبيَّ مُحَمَّداً

فَمَن مُبلِغٌ عَنّي النَبيَّ مُحَمَّداً

وَكُلُّ اِمريءٍ يُجزى بِما قَد تَكَلَّما

وَكُلُّ اِمريءٍ يُجزى بِما قَد تَكَلَّما

So who will bring word from me to the Prophet Muhammad?

So who can convey from me to the Prophet Muhammad

And every person is recompensed for what he has said.

And every person will be recompensed for what they have spoken

تَعالى عُلُوّاً فَوقَ عَرشِ إِلَهِنا

تَعالى عُلُوّاً فَوقَ عَرشِ إِلَهِنا

وَكانَ مَكانُ اللَهِ أَعلى وَأَعظَما

وَكانَ مَكانُ اللَهِ أَعلى وَأَعظَما

He rose on high above the throne of our God.

Exalted on high, above the throne of our God

And God's place was higher and greater.

And God's place was higher and greater
