1. It is right that knowledge should continue its weeping,
And for people, it is ease that responds to its echo.

2. For the highly distinguished Muhammad has died,
He is the virtuous Al-Quṣī, who raised its loftiness.

3. In him knowledge, glory, and piety are consoled,
He is the one whose sacrifice would be dear to us.

4. Upon his grave poured down clouds of mercy,
And from the Bountiful Master he attained His approval.

5. With him the gardens became adorned, and the maidens let down
Muhammad, ascend to the gardens of eternity.
