1. With diligence nations rise
And their glory ascends through knowledge

2. Indeed among people there is difference
So no slothful one is like one who makes effort

3. Whoever seeks knowledge and benefits from it
According to his capacity, attains happiness

4. And no seeker attains his desire
Without toil and wakefulness
