١. يا صاحبيّ خذا مقالةَ مغرمٍ
قول امرىء عرف الأمور وجرّبا
2. The Merciful did not create anything in vain
So wine was not created for it to be avoided
٢. لم يخلق الرحمن شيئاً عابثاً
فالخمر ما خلقت لأن تُتجنّبا
