That encompasses the meaning’s spheres

21. And a question that shows the blind clearly
And eloquence that sets prohibition free

22. Hearing fluttered over him until he
Feared no failure in seeking his generosity

23. He does not fear reduction after meeting him
Healthy, nor avoidance of replenishment

24. If it is said “pardon,” then he is a abundant sea
That knows no depths for the sinner

25. The lines of his character imprinted upon him—do you not see
In each impulse of his, a confirmation

26. Or if it is said “religion,” he upholds his covenant
How often he held its reins taut or its straps slack

27. Or if it is said “reform,” that is his making
In Egypt, he freed its people from bondage

28. The snakes of tribulations stung their right sides
For ages, and he was the antidote to their venom

29. He mended rifts with wisdom, though
The lands of Egypt had filled with schisms

30. And he settled justice there after upheaval
And truth is most deserving to be upheld

31. And he obliterated misguidance—so no falsehood opposed
Without having its soul extinguished

32. He acquainted the abodes with noble character
And revived knowledge after its withering

33. He paved the path for those appointed after him
And guided the travelers and unlocked obstacles

34. That they might travel by the lantern of intelligence
And shut from those whose eyes yearned towards it

35. God never enabled someone among a community
Except that he was harnessed for its benefit

36. The right hand of fate reaped—it buried
In the soil these qualities, and so character perished

37. The honorable preceded to bliss, and our era for
Every great one was a precursor

38. And he went to the Merciful Lord, meeting
Amidst the noble angels, companions

39. Speak of his virtues—good is speaking of him
That brings remedy to the loving and delight to the longing

40. O you who departed from us leaving our souls
To complain of sorrow and harbor passion

41. Grief left in us only a burning longing,
And a flowing tear

42. Death’s terminator snatched you suddenly from us
And left the bodies infirm

43. The comets of heaven did not scatter, nor did
Illness appear, nor the crow give portent

44. And the hand of demise stole you by night—would that they
Had cut the hands of thieves!

45. We shall not contravene the affection
That you established with us or move past it

46. One could not be who forgets the loyalty
Of the departed one day and breaks the pact
