1. The month of fasting, you have honored us as a guest
And I intended after this stay, to depart

2. Your gathering did not complete any joy
Until you took the path towards separation

3. And we wished for your long stay
But you refused except to stay a little

4. You fulfilled what you were content with in stay
But you did not quench any anguish

5. You bade us farewell as if you entrusted us
With sorrow for you that is prolonged

6. And you left us crying in sorrow for you but
Did not leave for us beautiful patience for you

7. Your nights were seasons of dawn for good
Preferring them over others with preference

8. In them were the traditions of standing in place
And in them the Book being recited in recitation

9. So today our eyes shine with tears
When they saw their full moon set

10. And I specify among the nights, a night
In which the Guardian descended the revelation

11. It is Laylat Al Qadr in which whoever stood in it
Deserved entering Heaven as reward

12. The honorable angels walk in it while they
Go back and forth ascending and descending
