1. Is this sun, from it the side is infatuated
Or the appearance of beauty appears in it to improve

2. Or a garden of intimacy in which the branches are dancing
And for the nightingales in its corners a melody

3. Or is it a houri between people, is it possible
That the eye appears in other than the gardens of Eden

4. In the blessed month of Dhu al-Qi'dah it appeared
So a pearl from shells hidden became apparent

5. It appeared to us like a chandelier, amazingly beautiful
And the beauty of its rising paired with good fortune

6. And it began reciting good tidings, dating
The birth of Fatima with righteous auspices
