1. Today she has reached twenty five
So congratulate her silver anniversary auspiciously

2. And give glad tidings to the poor Muslims about it
And shake the hands of the miserable humanity

3. And inspire them with delightful hopes
For hopes have long consoled the grieved

4. Were it not for wishes, their souls would have perished in agony
From worries, and their lives would have become disgraced

5. And despair causes weakness in the limbs of its owner
And deprives the determined people of dignity

6. And it silences the singing nightingale
And strips the eloquent of elocution

7. Free their arms to extend actively
Farming, industry, roads and mining

8. And teach them, according to your capability
The principles of knowledge, morals and religion

9. For knowledge guides them, morals makes them happy
And religion drives away the devils from the soul

10. It has supremacy over every soul secretly and openly
Like a policeman and law

11. If fate betrays its companion, he surrenders to it
And says, "Our Lord has decreed this for us"

12. How much has education manifested in their children
Individually and brought out treasures that were buried

13. God in them, so farming is in their hands
They show the secrets of earth that were hidden

14. And they are shepherds of cattle
And they are cooks, weavers and builders

15. They have a role everyday in our facilities
So let our hands flow over their hands

16. So give the Zakat (alms) of money, as with it
The soul and money gets purification and fortification

17. Have you not seen that the people of money live in anxiety
Fearing their death, except those who pay Zakat

18. Do you think God made you inheritors of wealth
So you may gather it and cause distress?

19. Or restrict it to pleasing yourselves
And deprive the needy and poor from it?

20. You are only custodians who will be asked
By your God about the account of the deserving

21. You are His representatives on earth, He has obligated you
To civilize it and purify the places of worship

22. And you will not get a share of His caliphate
Unless you spend from what you love

23. I hear a whisper among you, a man
Saying we are bankrupt so exempt us

24. And I am ashamed that only the likes of Rockefeller or the peers of Qarun do good
Give little, for there is no blame

25. Upon a man in righteousness, and a little from you suffices us
Do not belittle little, for drizzle to its like

26. Leaves rivers flowing
Rather determination is that you persist upon it

27. For long making it settle in the soul
As I have done, for I have not given it

28. Except seventy five piasters since it started
But I have not been negligent since its inception

29. In what I pledged, though it is hard for the givers
Is it not a crime against Islam that it has

30. In Egypt more than ten million
Who were stingy to its poor with the little, so they

31. Only donate a thousand or a little more
It has one association in the country,

32. If only they were continuous in its pleasure
The number of its schools have not increased

33. From Upper Egypt to Lower Egypt
The smallest community in the country precedes it

34. In what is given and counting the givers
And lack of money almost destroyed it

35. Were it not for a generous one who took over its matter for a while
So he united what was fragmented

36. And released what was mortgaged from its land
So protect its generosity, O Lord, and keep for us

37. The intrepid men of our state
And aid peace in this land and do not

38. Make all the people of the world insane
