1. For how long shall man not refrain
From going too far in his ignorance

2. He sees all creation made just for him
And the universe created for his pleasure

3. Yet he is of feeble will and weakened strength
Of little ambition within himself

4. And some that he sees as weak
Would surely surpass him in contest
