1. Contemplate, may Allah watch over you, the beauty of processions,
For that is a sky adorned with stars.

2. And below you is a garden whose fresh blossoms smile
At the tears of clouds.

3. A book that contained what no other book around it contained,
It excelled all others and was never surpassed.

4. It undertook to gather masterpieces, leaving
No seeker of masterpieces anything left to seek.

5. If you ponder its meanings, a precious pearl,
And its words, a sweet delicious drink.

6. And it is no wonder, for it is attributed to Ahmed,
Of commendable traits, an ocean of wonders.

7. By it the Gulf's head was crowned
With a sublime crown, and Allah is perfecter of gifts.

8. Its fragrance directs you, or its light guides you
To its protector, when obscured by darkness.

9. It adorned the days with the magic of its words,
Like pearls threaded atop necklaces.

10. It has a supreme rank in virtue, none below it,
That any seeker found hard to attain.

11. If there was wonder in the work of another,
Then in this is the greatest of wonders.

12. The full moon of its conclusion appeared
In the sky of talent, as joys came from all sides.

13. The good news shone, so I recorded,
The giving of good news with the beauty of processions.
