1. A true saying - wisdom is found in poetry
Yet not all verse in truth is so refined
١. مقال صحيح ان في الشعر حكمة
وما كل شعر في الحقيقة محكم
2. And though revealed scripture does condemn it
Commendations, too, are therein defined; so hope
٢. وان قيل في التنزيل قد جاء ذمه
فقد جاء فيه مدحه فتوسموا
