1. Bear with patience, for patience in heat is most beautiful,
And hopes cannot be placed in the vicissitudes of time,

2. If it were of benefit for a man to be seen lamenting,
Or humbling himself were of benefit,

3. Then consolation for every affliction,
And calamity would be best, finest and most beautiful,

4. How so when each is confined to his pigeon tower,
And no man has power over what Allah has decreed,

5. If days have changed for us,
With misery and blessing and events do take place,

6. No slender waisted one has softened from us,
Nor humbled us to her who is not beautiful,

7. But we have borne them as noble souls,
That carry what cannot be borne yet they carry,

8. And we have protected our souls with excellent patience,
Thus our honor and people have submitted,
