When you are absent from me, O Abu Al-Hasan

2. My heart whispers to me when it tells me
That I have solace from that sadness

3. By Allah, my soul will find no rest in anyone
Until it returns to its true home once again

4. Though bodies may travel different paths
While souls remain paired as one

5. The notion of reincarnation left me the day
It took my soul, carrying two spirits in one body
