1. He loved, so who was it that disappointed him?
And filled up, so who was it that softened him?

2. So no one was evil in his satisfaction,
And no one was harsh in his heart.

3. And he was righteous as you knew,
So what is this transgression and what is this foolishness?

4. And among the people are those who avoid sins,
While this one has exceeded the limit of chastity.

5. Not everyone who was strong,
Intends the weak if he becomes weak.

6. And he claimed I was an empty shell,
Of pearls like the one he threw around.

7. And if I wanted, I would let him know who I am,
Even if he has good knowledge of me.

8. And Satan knows who his Lord is,
But his tyranny has led him astray.

9. I will be forbearing until they say whatever,
Mu'awiyah has forbearance or lacked it.

10. For the mounts of loyalty are still
Placating the ruins of the covenant that softened it.

11. And the person is not obsessed with sins,
And in the face of truths what weakened him?

12. You see me loving you all my life,
A tongue that displeased or healed him.

13. Shall I satirize him until the people say:
“Victory satirized him, he has honored him.”

14. And ask whoever attacked me in satire,
About his honor, where he left it.

15. And the ignorant does justice to those he has wronged foolishly,
And oppresses those who did him justice.
