2. A blind man yearns for one he cannot see,
This is truly a sign and lesson.

3. And passion is too great for its sins to be counted,
Yet the passion of the blind is among the greatest sins.

In speech noisy, in smell malodorous.

8. If he knew his belovedโ€™s beauty,
