1. O my Aqsa Mosque, I kiss you
Tears run down the cheeks of the stars

2. Words come to me but their meanings elude me
Though yearning dwells within me, unbeknownst

3. Sharon defiled your sacred purity
Staining the wall of Ascent with blood

4. Behind him in his crime
Were war criminals of vilest treachery

5. Truly they committed a treacherous crime in the mosque courtyard
It is the citadel of Ascent from its lofty tower

6. From Jerusalem's rock his Gabriel ascended
To the highest heavens in glory

7. Opening its arms, the sky paved its roads
For Muhammad in greatest longing

8. And in the Aqsa courtyards...came this despicable crime
Resembling the darkest gloom

9. The faces of Barak and Sharon together
Partners in crime, in bloodshed

10. Murdering treacherously by storming its courtyard
In raging wrath of their betraying army's assault

11. The soldiers spilling sacred blood in vain
Sowing dissension, criminals indeed!

12. They did what even the army of Abraha did not
Taking refuge behind his elephant

13. God Almighty and His troops hurled down upon them
Stones like swirling chaff

14. Birds pelted them from the sky
Bringing death to the transgressing villain

15. And like eaten chaff they lay beneath the gravel
Slain and wounded by Hell's scalding torment

16. And God protected Jerusalem from Sharon
With searing stones thrown by youths

17. The army of stones vanquished the army of torment
No doubt in this, no wonder I sorrow!
