1. Caravans journeyed to the Holy Land,
Crowds jostling as they marched in lines.

2. In them were hearts that fluttered to Mecca,
On wings of longing borne by ships.

3. Walkers and riders came from every corner,
Through each ravine rode horse and rider.

4. Each face turned to that one direction,
Tears of devotion freely flowing.

5. In robes of white, unsewn, unstained,
Bowing to God, their burdens lifting.

6. They poured into the circling place of Tawaf,
Where sins are shed and faults forgiven.

7. Their spirits glowed with light serene
At oneness found, all drinking from one spring.

8. "We come, we come," their prayers resounded.
To You alone all praise and thanks we bring.

9. Your remembrance fortifies our hearts,
Uplifting them like morning's gentle breeze.

10. The world converges toward Your Precincts,
As people answer Your divine decrees.

11. Leaving behind their homes and families,
Until their holy quest is satisfied.
