1. Aba Hasan, you reminded us of the covenant and brotherhood,
And days gone by while good unites us.

2. We lived in security and bliss,
Serving faith and life in every way.

3. The flags of Islam raise victory and conquest,
Wherever they advance triumph follows.

4. Through them bounty came, as law decreed,
Upholding all that faith required.

5. We claim no virtue, though we've shunned all vice,
Else calamities would not have come our way.

6. Now that times have changed from what we knew,
When friend seems foe and comrade stays aloof,

7. Wrongdoing spreads across the land unchecked,
And panic grips the hearts of all believers,

8. There's solace for each faithful monotheist,
Though storms may buffet, shake his constancy.
