1. A prophet with precedence in every virtue
His loftiness shows above all the perfected ones

2. His face, with it grace rains down and gifts gush forth
And surprises every hopeful with what is wished for

3. So who is like him? And God, Glorified is He
Addresses him with praise at every halt

4. And grants him of Himself every special quality
Made clear to him, the Sublime, over every messenger

5. And in the presence of proximity, He gave him a rank
Beyond which every companion at a spiritual station fell short

6. So there is no ultimate goal but that his goal is beyond it
No master but by his overflowing grace is a loyal subject

7. And suffice you the Ascension as a knowledge of his value
And the glory contained in the remembrance of his Exalted Name

8. And enough proof is his intercession on the Day of Assembly
Which every honored soul seeks as protection

9. To save the sinners from the torment of wrath
And to open for the lowly the door of kindness

10. So glorify him with the greatest glory which pours down
The rain of gifts at every beginning and return

11. The evidences for him overflowing in the cosmos
As praise overflowed for his manifest virtue

12. If I say, “O Taha help me,” he says to me
“Loyal loyalty, here it is before you so take it”

13. And if my soul thirsts for cups of loyalty
I see him refreshing me graciously so fill up

14. And if the heart of a hopeful desires his bursting generosity
His fulfillment meets the utmost goal of the Powerful Author

15. And I have never attained, by God the All-Sufficient, any desire
Other than to have Taha as my intercessor

16. Oh Messenger of God, Oh Noblest of Creation
To whom my persistent turning never ceases

17. Sincerity of affection took hold of me and did not cease
To permeate me with joyfulness in every joint

18. Until my determination melted with my youth
And I saw no way to obtain the wished-for drink

19. Oh Messenger of God, whoever you are his succor
Attains the goal sought in every approach

20. And here I extend my hand in poverty sincerely
And I have no banner but excessive humility

21. I ask You for the gift for which You are worthy
And I ask You for the life by which mine is set aright

22. You are Kind and mercies require
Helping those who hope in You, Oh Best of Messengers

23. You are abundant in glory, grace and generosity
However little I ask, You hear, so increase my request

24. Upon You, God’s prayers and peace
Then on Your family, noble companions and followers

25. Prayers fulfilling hopes are sufficient
Through them to attain what is sought, every means

26. As long as the meadows have bloomed in their freshness
Reviving its fragrance after fragrance

27. And divine generosity has given of loyalty
And the eyes of my journey are content with the Sublime Witness
