1. By God, O Abul Hasan
Among the family of Wahb are stars of Yemen
١. اللَهَ اللَهَ يا أَبا الحَسَنِ
في آلِ وَهبٍ كَواكِبِ اليَمَنِ
2. Let not your ancient grudges against them deceive you
Lest they become like fading paintings and ruins
٢. لا تُغرِيَن شُؤمَكَ القَديمَ بِهِم
فَيُصبِحوا كَالرُسومِ وَالدِمَن
