We are from the window of this life,
١. مَن كانَ في الدُنيا لَهُ شارَةٌ
فَنَحنُ مِن نَظّارَةِ الدُنيا
2. We gaze upon it with envy and sorrow,
As if we are words devoid of any meaning.
٢. نَرمُقُها مِن كَثَبٍ حَسرَةً
كَأَنَّنا لَفظٌ بِلا مَعنى
