1. You remained submitting to the Muslims,
And lived as God's Caliph among us.

2. So you have made us forget justice and generosity,
The guidance of your righteous caliphate.

ุฃูุจููููุชููู ุงูููุฏุงุฉู ุงูุฑุงุดูุฏููุง
3. God wanted you to remain enduring,
So He decreed you be called al-Mustaโin.

4. If the caliphs are counted on a day of pride,
Your reigns have clearly outdistanced theirs.

5. Death took you from us, though it was our lot
To experience your death.

6. I see the protected city has gained beauty
Since the Trustworthy One took charge of it.

ุฅูุฐู ุงูุณุชูููููุชููู ุงูุนูููู ุงูุฃูู

7. When you approved of his character as guidance and faith,
You appointed your son al-โAbbas for it.

ุฑูุถูุชู ุจูุฎูููููู ููุฏูุงู ููุฏููุง
8. Hearts rejoiced when his rule came,
And eyes were delighted and confirmed.

9. The pilgrims set out in droves
Thanking you, going and returning.

10. You paved the way for their hajj at Badr,
Which illuminated the plain and the hills.

11. The noblest Hashimite by birth and the highest
In nobilityโtheir right hand and protector.

12. It suffices you that he is, in every case,
Your likeness, O Commander of the Faithful!

14. So renew the pledge of allegiance to him, renewing

15. Peopleโs suspicions of him will disappear

16. We see him as blessed, with the love
